Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru Frédéric Magnien 2012
The wine
After a meticulous grape selection process, Frédéric Magnien vinifies and élevages the wine in long barrels (which vary according to the vintage). This Clos de Bèze offers aromas of red berries (raspberry, cherry) with spicy notes. The palate is both dense and velvety, with prominent tannins.
About the Producer Frédéric Magnien
Frédéric Magnien represents the 5th generation of wine growers of his family. He created his trading house in 1995 and is also in charge of the family domaine (Michel Magnien). He carefully selects his wine growers and the plots that interest him; he manages the harvest personally with his team. He is best known for his red wines but for several years he has also produced white. His wines are characterised by their concentration and their solid character.
