Château Cormeil Figeac 1993
The wine
Raised for a year in barriques (80% new oak), this wine boasts a nose marked by cherry and fresh leather. Suave, supple and flavourful, the mouth offers fruit aromas as well as more complex cocoa notes. Cellar for several years.
About the Producer Cormeil Figeac
Halfway between the superb Châteaux Figeac and Cheval Blanc, this chateau has an exceptional terroir. It is managed by the family's fourth generation of owners: Victor and Coraline. The 10 hectares of vines grow on soils of clay and limestone, ideal for growing Merlot and Cabernet Franc. A lovely domain; one to watch out for!
