Côte de Beaune Combe d'Eve Emmanuel Giboulot (Domaine) 2014
About the Producer Giboulot
Having fallen into his father’s vats when young, Emmanuel Giboulot quickly caught the winemaking passion and went on to inherit the domain. During the 1970, Paul Giboulot was a forerunner when it came to using organic practices and he has since converted to biodynamic methods, in 1996 to be more precise. His work brings together Burgundian terroirs and noble varieties (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) as well as those becoming extinct (Pinot Beurot). The aim of his vinification methods is to highlight the characteristics of the soils, vintages, and grapes. Production is small but it is definitely worth seeking out his wines.
