Lot presentation

Château Hosanna 2009

The wine

Hosanna is among the top Pomerol wines. This wine, aged in oak barrels, is powerful and generous. It expresses aromas of ripe fruit, undergrowth and sometimes even truffle. On the palate, it is full-bodied, dense and sapid and shows wood notes. It is a wine with great aging potential.

About the Producer Château Hosanna

The former Certan Giraud was bought by Etablissement Moueix and renamed Hosanna for the 1999 and subsequent vintages. The know-how of the famous Moueix family has made the cru one of the most sought after from Pomerol and all Bordeaux. The 4.5 hectares of the domain are unfortunately not enough to satisfy all the demand.
