Montrachet Grand Cru Baron Thenard (Domaine) 1991
The wine
This Chardonnay is dry, round, and characteristic of its appellation. Its delicately golden colour exudes a nose of honey, nuts, and shoots with some hints of oak. Its palate is mineral and rich. The same aromas found on the nose are rediscovered in the mouth with a particularly long finish.
About the Producer Thénard
Domain Thénard farms vines in Givry, producing wines vinified traditionally and matured in old cellars that date back to the 17th century. He owns vines in appellations such as Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru, Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru.
