Montlouis-sur-Loire Le Volagré Stéphane Cossais 2007
The wine
Volagré comes from a parcel of organically-cultivated vines and is aged in used demi-muids. On the nose, aromas of ripe apple emerge, becoming more earthy with aeration; the bouquet strikes a perfect balance between ripe fruit and freshness. Tasting reveals an uncanny balance of tension and fatness, culminating in a long, persistent finish with well-integrated woody aromas.
About the Producer Stéphane Cossais
