Ribera del Duero DO Janus Gran Reserva Tinto Pesquera - Alejandro Fernandez 1994
The wine
Produced with Tempranillo, Spain’s emblematic grape, this cuvée has a complex aromatic bouquet of red fruits, dried fruits, tobacco and leather. Made for cellaring, it will go perfectly with characterful foods.
About the Producer Tinto Pesquera
Alejandro Fernández has carved out a place for himself in the history of Spanish wine by reviving the fortunes of Ribera del Duero and enhancing its international reputation. He demonstrated his expertise in the 1980s in particular, after a difficult ten year quest to find the elusive recipe for quality: a consistent balance between the grape and the flavours obtained by ageing.
