Ladoix 1er Cru Gaston et Pierre Ravaut 1986
The wine
The Ladoix appellation is not very well known today, but for the enlightened connoisseur it is real godsend since this vineyard bears a likeness to its famous neighbour, Corton hill. The Ladoix red wines are quite supple, with have fine, discrete tannins Extremely aromatic, they express perfumes of raspberry and cherry. The premiers crus are more tannic and full.
