Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs Vénus Pascal Agrapart 2008
The wine
Aged solely in oak barrels, this champagne has rested on its lees for six months and bottled with low dosage. Originating from a parcel of Avize planted in the late 1950s, it has a complex aromatic bouquet with notes of white fruit, truffle and roasting. This complex and refined champagne can be enjoyed with meals.
About the Producer Agrapart & Fils
Maison Agrapart & Fils, founded in Avize in the late 19th century, now extends over twelve hectares on the Côte des Blancs, eight of which are classified as grand cru. A family farm, it has maintained the status of récoltant manipulant. On a vineyard with 65 parcels, the vines (Chardonnay alone) are on average 40 years old. This very fine domain is particularly popular with wine lovers and is gaining fame: the cuvées produced by this sought-after maison are increasingly difficult to find! They stand out for their great finesse, mainly thanks to the low dosage and the fine minerality of the wines.
