Saint-Véran Les Pommards Jessica Litaud 2021
About the Producer Jessica Litaud
After travelling across ten or so countries, Jessica Litaud has been based in the heart of the Mâconnais since 2018, having returned to her native village of Vergisson. The village is particularly reputed for being one of the most promising areas of the Mâconnais, producing pure, racy white wines made from Chardonnay. This is where she produces exceptional wines, cultivating more than two hectares of vines taken over from the family domain. Having received first-rate training from leading winemakers Jean-Marie Guffens and Jean-François Gannevat, she has surrounded herself with the best, who continue to advise her to this day, to help her rise to the level of the very best. Organic farming practices are at the heart of her work in the vineyard and winery. Jessica Litaud favours a natural approach to winemaking, giving free rein to her instincts. The reputation of the domain is skyrocketing, a sign of exceptional cuvées that will soon be impossible to find.
