Vin de France Pierre chaude L'Anglore 2020
The wine
This robust cuvée confirms the talents of biodynamic and natural winemaker Eric Pfifferling once and for all. It is made predominantly from Grenache and 70-year-old Clairette and has a velvety texture on the palate, further enhanced by some spicy notes.
About the Producer L'Anglore
Domaine de l'Anglore is a flagship natural domain of the moment. The estate spans 4 hectares in Tavel, renowned for its rosé production, and is managed by Eric Pfifferling. This former apicultor turned to winemaking after seeing his bees die because of the insecticides used in the region. He practiced biodynamic viticulture right from the beginning: the soils are tilled so as to preserve the natural balance between roots and 'weeds'. His rosés are considered among the best in the world.
