Meursault 1er Cru Blagny Sarnin-Berrux 2010
About the Producer Sarnin-Berrux
Jean-Pascal Sarnin and Jean-Marie Berrux were both eager to discover the diverse expressions and sensibilities of the Burgundy terroir, prompting them to set up the Maison Sarnin-Berrux in Monthélie, in the heart of the iconic Côte de Beaune, in 2007.v Jean-Pascal Sarnin left the world of Parisian finance to acquire a wealth of winegrowing experience by working in the Côte d’Or. This is where he met his counterpart and friend Jean-Marie Berrux. Together, they canvas Burgundy to acquire grapes grown exclusively organically. They are convinced of the benefits such practices have on the vines and the wine, resulting in cuvées that reflect the terroir, while preserving the soil and biodiversity. In the winery, they vinify the fruit as naturally as possible, with minimal intervention, so as to express the diversity of the different Burgundy crus.
