Chassagne-Montrachet Lamy Pillot 2018
About the Producer Lamy Pillot
Domaine Lamy Pillot is nestled in the heart of Burgundy’s winegrowing landscape, in the charming commune of Chassagne-Montrachet. Established in 1973, the vineyard now boasts over 17 hectares of vines stretching across some of the region’s finest appellations. The family domain lovingly cultivates its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines with the greatest respect for the soil and biodiversity. Each parcel is unique and receives specific care depending on its needs, to allow the personality of each one to shine through. Following harvests entirely conducted by hand, the vinification process is carried out with minimal intervention and only minute amounts of sulphur are added to allow the fruit to express its full range of aromas. The domain’s exceptional terroir, sublimated by a unique expertise passed down from one generation to the next, results in elegant, authentic and flavoursome wines that perfectly reflect the values of the region.
