Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Michel Magnien 2010
The wine
Harvested by hand, sorted meticulously, placed in vats then in barrels (80% new wood), this prestigious wine expresses all the complexity of its terroir. Truffle, violet and wild berries are its primary aromas. With time, notes of red fruits and leather evolve. All of this is enveloped in a rich and ample texture that finishes with a pleasant freshness. A bottle to be aged in the cellar for a few more years.
About the Producer Michel Magnien
Frédéric Magnien is in charge at once of the family domain in Morey-Saint-Denis – where he represents the 4th generation of wine makers – and his work as a négociant. Since 2010, the domain has been run biodynamically (with Demeter certification) and it has been making notable progress in recent years.
