Barolo DOCG Aleste (anciennement Cannubi Boschis) Luciano Sandrone 2004
The wine
Cannubi Boschis is a Barolo which produces aromas of fresh fruit (cherry, raspberry), notes of rose and violet, and slight spicy notes (clove). The mouth reveals a good structure, intense fruity aromas, silky tannins and great aromatic persistence. This wine can be enjoyed in the company of various different meat dishes, pasta with tomato sauce, etc.
About the Producer Luciano Sandrone
The Luciano Sandrone domaine was created in 1978 in the heart of the village of Barolo in the Piedmont. Luciano’s wines have rapidly established an international reputation. The vineyard spans 27 hectares planted with Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo and the domaine is worked without chemicals, although it does not have organic accreditation. Ageing is carried out in 500-litre barrels to preserve the subtlety of the wines. They have a distinctive intense fruity flavour and velvety tannins.
