Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Camille Giroud (Domaine) 2009
About the Producer Camille Giroud
Created in 1865 by the Swiss Camille Giroud, the Maison was originally a trading house which only began to buy its own vines in 1990. In 2001, some American enthusiasts named Colgin, purchased the domain and maintained its international success. Native to the Loire valley, their oenologist David Croix wanted to maintain this micro-trading business. Nowadays his place has been taken by Carel Voorhuis. The wines produced are popular due to their elegance, balance and the right choice of grape maturity and élevage.
