Chassagne-Montrachet Ramonet (Domaine) 2014
The wine
Located in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet, the estate is run by two brothers, Noël and Jean-Claude Ramonet. It has enjoyed a wonderful reputation since the 1930s. This estate is particularly well-known for its exceptional white wines. The resulting Chassagne-Montrachet wines keep this reputation alive. Supple and harmonious, with a stunning finish, they stand out through complex aromas of pear, citrus fruits and white flowers.
About the Producer Ramonet
Jean-Claude and Noël safeguard the 17-hectare property created bit by bit by their grandfather Pierre Ramonet in the 1920s, a Burgundian figure. Noël (in the cellar) and Jean-Claude (in the vineyard) took over the domain in 1984. They are the third generation and want to get the best out of the terroir. It is one of the most renowned domain of the appellation for both quality and finesse of its wines.
