The wine
Today, the Ramonet estate is run by Pierre Ramonet's grandsons, Jean-Claude and Noël. Pierre Ramonet was one of the very first Burgundy winemakers to sell his produce in the United States in the 1930s. The estate has been expanding and building on its reputation ever since, and features among Burgundy's best-known estates.
About the Producer Ramonet
Jean-Claude and Noël safeguard the 17-hectare property created bit by bit by their grandfather Pierre Ramonet in the 1920s, a Burgundian figure. Noël (in the cellar) and Jean-Claude (in the vineyard) took over the domain in 1984. They are the third generation and want to get the best out of the terroir. It is one of the most renowned domain of the appellation for both quality and finesse of its wines.
