About the Producer Joseph Roty
The Joseph Roty domain is a family vineyard of 12 hectares, established for 11 generations on the communes of Gevrey-Chambertin and Marsannay, and today run by Joseph Roty and his son Philippe. It is undoubtedly one of the most famous Burgundy producers, even if any form of communication is refused and it does not appear to be looking for new, and in particular French, customers (85% of its wines are exported). Nevertheless, the rich and sensual style of its wines deserve their good rating in the Parker guide and the critics' regularly appraisal.
