The wine
They have an exquisite bouquet with notes of liquorice and red fruit. On the palate, they are ripe, fruity and sweet, while the tannins are well-coated, seductive and very deep.
About the Producer Château Malartic-Lagravière
Purchased by the family of Count Hippolite de Maurès de Malartic at the end of the eighteenth century, Château Malartic Lagravière has been renowned for centuries for the quality of its terroir. In 1997, the Bonnie family bought it from the Marly family. The Château is one of only six Classified Growths with both red and white wines. The vineyard covers 53 hectares (46ha devoted to red and 7ha to white) and the wines it produces nowadays are of exceptional quality.
