Bonnezeaux La Chapelle Château de Fesles 1990
The wine
This Bonnezeaux is characterised by an attractive golden colour exuding a rich, delicate aromatic bouquet: it features intense notes of dried fruit, fruit cheese, fleshy fruits and flowers like acacia. An attractive mineral character in the mouth lends it great persistence and a good ageing potential. One to be enjoyed with fruit-based dishes.
About the Producer Château de Fesles
Château de Fesles is located in Bonnezeaux, at the top of one of the four hillside slope vineyards overlooking the Layon river. After having spent some time under the ownership of the famous pastry chef Gaston Lenôtre, the estate has been managed by Bernard Germain since 1996. In addition to Bonnezeaux, the 35-hectare vineyard produces red and white Anjou wine as well as an Anjou rosé.
