Rosso di Montalcino DOC Camigliano 2002
The wine
The domain favours traditional, non-mechanic methods and low yield: this authenticity is perfectly reflected in the Rosso di Montalcino. Produced solely from Sangiovese, it is matured for 12 months in large barrels before aging in bottle. The élevage smooths the tannins that can initially be rather pronounced from young vines of Sangiovese.
