Meursault Limozin Henri Germain 2010
The wine
This Meursault is the result of the sustainable growing of Chardonnay on the clay-chalk soils typical of the appellation. Vinified using traditional methods, with no intervention, and matured extensively, this cuvée should be aged for at least 5, if not 10, years in order to develop its crystalline profile, its finesse and its persistence. It will pair well with delicate dishes.
About the Producer Henri Germain & fils
Jean-François Germain forges the long tradition that precedes him with fervour and passion. His father Henri was modest, but he made a name for himself in Meursault thanks to his perseverance and exemplary work. The family owns 8 hectares of vines, making the wines especially coveted. It is recommended to leave them to age for some years due to their style. Produced in the pure tradition of the region, these wines can be somewhat austere in their youth, but they open up after a few years, revealing all the secretes of the Côtes de Beaune's finest Chardonnay.
