Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Michel Magnien 2002
The wine
The winemaker Michel Magnien leaves his magnificent mark once again on this aromatic wine with its crimson hue, and a spiced nose replete with cinnamon and nutmeg, alongside notes of blackberry and black cherry. The palate is powerful all whilst remaining elegant, and will evolve towards a softer tannic quality when aged for 7-8 years
About the Producer Michel Magnien
Frédéric Magnien is in charge at once of the family domain in Morey-Saint-Denis – where he represents the 4th generation of wine makers – and his work as a négociant. Since 2010, the domain has been run biodynamically (with Demeter certification) and it has been making notable progress in recent years.
