Gevrey-Chambertin Creux Brouillard Jérémy Recchione 2020

About the Producer Jérémy Recchione

In 2010, Jérémy Recchione who had always been passionate about wine, started working at Domaine Pierre Naigeon, a charming Burgundy vineyard covering around ten hectares. There he learned about all the specific features of this region’s exceptional terroir, alongside the principles of biodynamic viticulture, which he fully embraces. In 2013, following a trip to Australia exploring new horizons, Jérémy came back to his beloved Burgundy and started vinifying his own cuvées, in addition to his regular day job, acquiring grapes from winegrower friends. The young winemaker spent almost six years patiently learning and refining his winemaking methods. The year 2019 marked a turning point in his winemaking journey. This is when Jérémy Recchione purchased his first parcel of Aligoté vines in the heart of the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. Jérémy’s vision for the domain is to cultivate the vines and produce the wines as sustainably and naturally as possible. The vineyard has attracted considerable attention for its sulphite free cuvées, which clearly establish Jérémy Recchione as one of Burgundy’s future great winemakers.
