Lot presentation

Côtes de Provence Domaine de Gavoty Clarendon 2011

The wine

Clarendon was Bernard Gavoty’s surname, a music critic for the Figaro. Made up of a majority of Syrah, this wine is vinified traditionally. It is matured in vats for 18 months. In its youth, the nose is open, with aromas of raspberry and black fruits lifted by spices. The palate is ample, and the tannins refined. Wait five years for the terroir’s evolutionary aromas to make the wine more complex.
