Lot presentation
Château Gouprie 1971
The wine
Château Gouprie is a deep Pomerol composed mainly of Merlot. It should be aged for 5 to 10 years before opening and offering a velvety and delicate palate.
About the Producer Château Gouprie
Sylvie and Patrick Moze-Berthon's family have owned Château Gouprie for three generations. Vinification is carried out using traditional methods, but the winery has required substantial investment. This enterprising, persistent couple has received numerous medals for Château Grouprie's wines, and for the other properties for which they are responsible, such as Rocher Gardat, in the Montagne Saint Emilion appellation.
