Château Mayne Lalande Cru Bourgeois 1990
The wine
This château produces rich, complex wines. Their powerful bouquet reveals notes of violets, on the palate, they are rounded, full-bodied and tannic. Very structured, these are refined, elegant wines. The property was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification.
About the Producer Château Mayne Lalande
Focused primarily on mixed farming and livestock, this property used to produce a small quantity of wine, that was vinified by the cooperative. In 1973 the owner decided to turn the farm into a wine-producing property in its own right. Twenty-five years later, it had become one of the finest properties in the commune of Listrac and the Haut-Médoc, with an excellent reputation.
