The wine
The cuvée Syrah is elegant, with a purple colour, it opens up with intense aromas of black berries. The mouth has a fruity attack composed of aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and prunes. The wine is well-structured with velvety tannins.
About the Producer Cayuse
French hunters planted vines in the Walla Walla Valley in the mid-19th century, in the state of Washington. Christophe Baron, young winemaker from Champagne chose this valley to start his own domain in 1997. It now runs over 18 hectares and is planted with several grape varieties, with a majority of Syrah and Grenache. Christophe Baron has cultivated the vineyard according to biodynamic principles since 2002.
