Lot presentation
Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes Mugneret-Gibourg (Domaine) 2018
The wine
This wine comes from a parcel of red soils bought by Georges Mugneret in 1985. Wines from Chambolle-Musigny are known for their ‘feminine’ character, which is why the finesse of its tannins and aromas need a delicate, simple food pairing.
About the Producer Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg
Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg was created in 1933 by Jeanne Gibourg and André Mugneret. Their son, Georges Mugneret, took over the domaine and expanded it. Marie-Christine and Marie-Andrée, the daughters of Georges and Jacqueline, now run it. The vineyards are distributed over the appellations of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Ruchottes-Chambertin and Clos Vougeot. The wines of this domaine have a very classic style and its quality has improved a lot in recent years. The cuvées can be presented under two labels, Georges Mugneret and Mugneret-Gibourg.
