Grey Goose Of. VX Exclusive Edition (no reserve)
The wine
Grey Goose VX was created by François Thibault, who was originally from Cognac. He was also Grey Goose’’s cellar master and responsible for creating the original recipe in 1997, adding a small amount of cognac to the vodka to create a completely original spirit. Grey Goose VX is made only from French ingredients, with 95% distilled soft winter wheat grown in Picardy and 5% cognac from the area home to the Grey Goose lodge since 2012, a 17th century manor house near Juillac-le-Coq.
About the Producer Grey Goose
Grey Goose is a French vodka brand founded by American billionaire Sidney Frank in 1997 in Gensac-la-Pallue, in Cognac. The vodka—created by Cellar Master François Thibault, who earned his stripes in the world of cognac—is produced from winter wheat grown in Picardy, a high-quality wheat sown in October and harvested in August, and spring water naturally filtered through the limestone of Grande Champagne. Positioned as a premium vodka, it is extremely popular in the United States, which led to it being bought by Bacardi in 2004 for over two billion dollars. Flavoured versions of Grey Goose also exist, featuring, for example, melon, orange and vanilla.
