Pommard 1er Cru Les Epenots Parent (Domaine) 2016
The wine
Les Epenots is a beautiful premier cru terroir from Pommard, an appellation reputed for the strength of its wines. Made to be aged, this cuvée reveals fruity and evolved notes. These are complemented by aromas of leather, earth, and game. The tannins of its palate are harmonious, bringing a silky mouthfeel.
About the Producer Domaine Parent
François Parent took over from his father, who bottled his first vintage in 1955. The domain went on to produce wines sold in the best Michelin-starred restaurants. François Parent also vinifies his wife's wines at A-F Gros. This cuvée was produced until 2006; when the parcel was sold.
