Meursault Les Narvaux Chavy-Chouet 1991
The wine
The Les Narvaux vineyard parcel lies above Les Genevrières and Les Poruzots. This is a very nice Meursault to drink young but it can also be aged for a few years. The wine is subtle and delicate with a perfect balance between acidity and roundness.
About the Producer Chavy-Chouet
Domaine Chavy Chouet, located in Meursault, is a family vineyard that extends over 13 hectares and has plots in the most beautiful villages of the Côte de Beaune: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Volnay and Pommard. The domaine comes from the union of the two eponymous families, settled for generations in the region. Currently managed by Romaric Chavy (7th generation), the farm is cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner, limiting chemicals as much as possible. The very fair prices mean it is unmissable for any lover of great Burgundy wines.
