Puligny-Montrachet Au Paupillot Genot-Boulanger 2002
The wine
The name of Puligny originated in the Gallo-Roman times, when a certain Puliniacus creates his field, about 2000 years ago. The limestone gives the Chardonnay a unique subtlety enhanced by a South-East exposure and slopes that help drainage. The white wines of Puligny offers a set of very distinguished noble aromas: almond paste, fern, exotic fruits, amber, white flowers. In the mouth, acidity is rather unobtrusive, leaving a soft expression and an intense impressive persistence.
