Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses Moine-Hudelot (Domaine) 1982
The wine
Originally, Domaine Moine-Hudelot in Chambolle-Musigny was a small family vineyard run by the commune’s former Mayor, Daniel Moine. It was taken over by Patrick Landanger, of Domaine de la Pousse d’Or in 2008 and as such no longer exists. However, well-informed wine lovers still appreciate its wines.
From terroir to bottle, the Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses is a premier cru wine with the makings of a grand cru. The palate is very refined and sumptuously precise. It is the last word in “Chambolle texture", coating the mouth with its notes of blackcurrant and liquorice and leaving a velvety sensation on the finish.
About the Producer Domaine Moine-Hudelot
Domaine Moine-Hudelot in Chambolle-Musigny was originally a small family farm, managed by Daniel Moine, the former mayor of Chambolle-Musigny, before being bought in 2008 by Patrick Landanger of the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or. The domaine no longer exists as such today but its wines remain appreciated by informed wine lovers.
