About the producer
This tiny property, around five hectares in area, lies on a plateau to the north of Saint Emilion. Jean-Pierre Moueix purchased Moulin du Cadet in 1989. Cultivation methods were radically altered and the estate was converted to organic agriculture in 2002 and then to biodynamic in 2008.
About the wine
Moulin du Cadet produces light, fragrant wines which are very appealing. Very ripe, they offer aromas of dark fruit and show great purity, with plenty of body and good length.
