Château Labegorce Cru Bourgeois
Information
About the producer

Château Labégorce is a very fine vineyard in the commune of Margaux. The Perrodo family, which owns the Labégorce and Labégorce Zédé châteaux (as well as Marquis d'Alesme) has decided to combine the two Labégorces into a single cru. The wines are now more consistent. Harvesting is carried out exclusively by hand. Each grape variety is vinified separately, parcel by parcel, with painstaking care. The wine is aged in merrain oak barrels, one third of which are replaced each year.

About the wine

Château Labégorce is a traditional Margaux. It is smooth, flavoursome and slightly spicy. It is a powerful young wine, but the tannins relax after 5 to 15 years of cellaring, making way for a very distinguished wine.
