About the producer
Château Barreyes' vineyard lies to the east of the commune of Arcins, in the Haut-Médoc appellation. The Castel family have carried out major renovation work since 1971 with a view to achieving optimal quality. Planted on clay and sandy-gravel outcrops, the vineyard is particularly well oriented.
About the wine
The resulting wines have a colour, finesse and firmness that recalls those of Margaux. Château Barreyes produces fruity, balanced wines with a good potential to age.
