Information
With a great passion for Burgundy, Oronce de Beler decided to use the region’s grape varieties to showcase their most beautiful characteristics. This is how Mousses Sauvages d’Aligoté (which translates to Aligoté Wild Brews) was born. This iconic beer from the Maison Romane collection is brewed with Aligoté grape juice. The beer is also matured for six months in oak foudres (large tuns) before being bottled for a second fermentation.
The golden, slightly cloudy colour reveals a fine, elegant effervescence that enlivens the tasting experience. Fresh grape aromas and notes of yellow-fleshed fruit, with a hint of exotic and passion fruit dominate the complex, flavoursome nose. The palate reveals a superb balance of fruity roundness and gentle bitterness, leading delicately to a tasty, thirst-quenching finish.
