Information
The Bret Brothers domain was founded in 2001 by brothers Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret. They are also the brothers behind the Domaine de la Soufrandière. Their objective has been clear from the beginning: to create specially selected high quality wines under strict and precise specifications. The Bret brothers buy unharvested grapes and then vinify them themselves. Some of their cuvées have organic certification.
This haute couture wine trading company seeks to produce great terroir wines in line with rigorous specifications. The Chardonnay vines, averaging around forty years of age, thrive on regularly cultivated soil, including precise ploughing. Organic methods are also applied in both the winery and the vineyard. The hand-picked grapes undergo fermentation triggered by the natural yeasts present on the berries. This rigorous approach guarantees top-quality raw materials and great wines. This Zen cuvée is a wine that has been vinified with minimal doses of sulphur.
The bright golden colour reveals an expressive nose combining aromas of green apple with delicious notes of jam. The frank, refined palate elegantly leads to a perfectly balanced lingering finish.
