Information
Nestled in Vosne-Romanée, right in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the estate has been cultivating the jewels of the Burgundy winegrowing landscape since the 1830s. The Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru appellation enjoys a cool oceanic climate with continental influences. The Pinot Noir vines, planted on soils mainly consisting of limestone, are at their finest. Once the grapes have been hand-picked, they are totally destemmed and placed in large vats. Fermentations are conducted under controlled temperatures, with regular pumping over. The wine is then carefully aged in oak casks, with only a small proportion of new wood.
The shimmering ruddy-red colour reveals a charming bouquet of red berry aromas mingling with delicate floral hints. On the palate, intense fruit aromas combine with flavours of vanilla and cloves, complemented by well-integrated oak. This cuvée can easily be cellared for a decade.
