Domaine de Nénu is a real discovery to make from the heart of the Collioure appellation. This property and its vines are managed by a young, Danish producer who learnt the tricks of the wine trade, including the secrets of biodynamic agriculture, when he moved to Banyuls-sur-Mer. Enamoured by the region, he set up his own domain where he likes to highlight the quality of his terroir through work in the vineyard and the winery alike. Chemical products are not used on the vines and there are no additives used during vinification. Wild yeasts are left to ferment by themselves and maturation is long so the wine can refine.
This is a wine that invites a beautiful tasting moment. We recommend keeping it in the cellar for a few years. Its deep, garnet hue will draw you in, and its nose exudes notes of red and black fruit, spices, herbs, leather, and musk. The palate is structured by firm tannins.
