Information
This Chambolle-Musigny premier cru from Domaine Henri Felettig is grown in a 0.22-hectare parcel rich in clay and small pebbles on chalky ground. The Pinot Noir roots draw their nutrients from deep in the ground, offering complex wines with good ageing potential. Around 50 years old, the vines also enjoy a good location on an east-facing slope. Yields are limited to 35 hectolitres per hectare.
In the glass we find a racy wine with a dense texture; it gives off notes of black fruit, gentle spices, macerated fruit, and dried fruit, as well as earthy, mushrooms aromas. The depth of these characteristics promises a wonderful tasting moment with dishes like roasted pork with prunes or something involving mushrooms.
