Information
The spearhead of the Languedoc wine revolution, Mas Jullien was created by Olivier Jullien in 1985. Located in Joncquières, to the north of Montpellier, the domain covers 18 hectares. By studying his soils carefully and using native grape varieties, Olivier Jullien has elevated his domain to the highest levels of excellence, producing refined, subtle, perfectly-balanced wines. The vineyard is cultivated in an environmentally friendly way, and was even organically certified for a while. Olivier Jullien produces superb wines which are acknowledged and sought out by connoisseurs and professionals alike. Thanks to his work, the domain is now clearly at the very peak of the appellation.
Produced by Olivier Jullien and his friend Olivier Michel (an organically-certified Béarn winemaker), this rare cuvée has been vinified in a totally natural way, with little added sulphur. The wine is then matured for 18 months in tanks. All these stages help to preserve the characteristic fresh delicacy of the grapes. The palate features a pleasant, highly fluid fruity intensity. This is a wine which will be perfectly at home either with an apéritif or served with a summer meal.
