Côtes de Nuits connoisseurs will tell you that behind the name Gros is a mosaic of intertwined domains. The original domain (domain Louis Gros), was divided between his three children, which started the Gros Frère et Soeur, François Gros and Jean Gros domains at the beginning of the 1970s. Within the Jean Gros domain, Anne-Françoise Gros manages her own parcels under the Domaine A-F Gros.

Selected from nine of the domain’s twelve hectares, this 100% Pinot Noir cuvée is generous and has followed the same treatment as the domain’s other wines. It is crimson in colour and a nose of black fruits and spices. Whilst this vintage is fresh, aromas of red berries will dominate. On the palate, it will be more or less velvety with tannins that will generally be quite firm.
