About the producer

Côtes de Nuits connoisseurs will tell you that behind the name Gros is a mosaic of intertwined domains. The original domain (domain Louis Gros), was divided between his three children, which started the Gros Frère et Soeur, François Gros and Jean Gros domains at the beginning of the 1970s. Within the Jean Gros domain, Anne-Françoise Gros manages her own parcels under the Domaine A-F Gros.

About the wine

Rich in its mouthfeel with velvety tannins, it is complex with a fine persistence on the palate. One of the finest Pommard premiers crus! It has a superb potential for ageing. The ‘Les Arvelets’ terroir is sloped, fully exposed to the south on a clay-chalk soil with pebbles and limestone running through it.
