Information
Founded in Beaune in 1880, the Joseph Drouhin house is now run by the four children of Robert Drouhin. Present throughout Burgundy, but also in the United States in Oregon, its reputation is worldwide. It also has a domain of its own, including a vineyard of 72 hectares.
With its perfect exposure to the south-west, the Chardonnay that makes up this Meursault benefits from the clay-chalk influence of its terroir. Matured in oak barrels (25% new wood) for a year, it has a pale golden colour, a nose perfectly balanced between elegance and concentration, and a generous, ample palate. You’ll undoubtedly be charmed by its bouquet of almond, toast, gentle spices and dried fruit.
