About the producer

The history of Château Gobelsburg, situated in the region of Kamptal to the west of Vienna, goes back to the 12th century. It has belonged to Cistercian monks from Zwettl Abbey since the 13th century, with Michael and Eva Moosbrugger in charge (since 1996). The vineyard is spread over 39 hectares in Kamptal and Kremstal, planted with Grüner Veltliner (50%), Riesling (25%) for whites and 25% red grape varieties: Blauburgunder (10%), Saint Laurent (7%), Zweigelt (5%) and Merlot (3%).

About the wine

Langenlois is situated in the centre of the Kamptal appellation. This cuvée offers fruity and floral aromas, notes of pepper and spices, whereas on the palate it has a certain nervosity. Drink this wine young to enjoy the fruit.
