The origins of the mythical Château de Meursault go back to the 11th century. Today, this domaine extends over 60 hectares of vines of Volnay, Beaune, Pommard, Aloxe Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, with many premier and grand crus. it has been owned by the Halley family since 2012.
Le Clos des Grands Charrons is a top-class Meursault, élevaged in oak for between 12 and 15 months. It has an expressive nose with delicate aromas of citrus fruit and white flowers. On the palate, the texture is silky, rounded and well-balanced. The finish is nice and long with a mineral quality.
