About the producer

Vlavis Sklavos is at the helm of this small domaine located on the peninsula which forms the western part of Kefalonia. Almost 30% of the vines are ungrafted as they survived phylloxera contamination. This mystic winegrower has a passionate relationship with his vines which he manages using biodynamic techniques.

About the wine

It is a wine with a black berry nose featuring herby, mushroomy notes. Elegant and racy in the mouth, with a sustained fruitiness. This wine is to be enjoyed while still young, with white meat or mushroom puff pastry. The winemaker has used biodynamic methods in its production, carrying out a long fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in old barrique barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit.
